CEO 's Top of the Shirtys
Hello there! Axel here, co-founder of Shirty.se and responsible for most of the weirdness that ends up on our t-shirts. I thought I'd take a little peek into my own wardrobe and share some personal favorites from the range. In no particular order (and definitely without style police).
Sport fishing is one of my great passions. There's something meditative about casting out the line, waiting for the strike, and then trying to explain to someone who's never fished why you voluntarily get up at 4am. This tishan sums it up perfectly.
2. Octopus Frame
Which brings me to another favorite subject: the ocean. I have always been fascinated by deep sea creatures, waves and wrecks. This motif is part of our own Ocean Collection:

3. Mirkwood Extra Stout
I was a Tolkien nerd deluxe in my youth. This design is a tribute to that, disguised as a fictional beer label. Perfect for those who like fantasy, stout and the forest.
4. Fireballs
Working with famous brands is a real pleasure. I usually wear this one when I go out to the bar. A nod to something familiar, but with extra heat.
5. Shirty Ringer
A personal favorite that I wear often. Inspired by 70s sports and soft drink designs, with a nostalgic and playful retro vibe.
6. Cat Guevara
My own cat Sören has inspired many of our cat motifs. Here he appears as a revolutionary. We definitely have more cat motifs than dog motifs on Shirty, and that's probably no coincidence.
7. Billy Badger
Shirty's own mascot! Billy Badger is my invented character and is available in several different motifs. Here in a stylish version, but feel free to check out the entire collection for more wild antics:

8. I Believe in Santa Claus
Folklore, myths and elves! This motif really makes me happy. There is something magical about the northern lights, the forest and the little elf. You can find the whole collection here:

9. Redstone
As a Gothenburger, I have a special bond with the place Röda Sten. I have fished there, drunk beer there, walked there. A Yellowstone-inspired design but with a Gothenburg soul.
10. Hisingen Island Ranger
And last but not least, Sören returns – now as a Park Ranger over our island, Hisingen. A must for every local patriot.
