Cotton has been a part of our history longer than the pyramids! Over 7,000 years ago, people in India spun threads from the white cotton balls, while indigenous people in Peru wove their own fabrics. As trade routes took off, cotton spread as a luxury item in Europe and soon became indispensable. With the Industrial Revolution, production exploded, and today cotton is an everyday hero in our t-shirts, jeans and bed linen.
